Dear Father:
Since  I wrote last  I have had  two  letters   from
you,   one   just  a   few hours  ago.     The  first was written hew  14
and was  enclosed with  one  from Mrs.  Bunn for the Wesley Women
with  their  check   for $30 and  the  second was written Hay   21*
and  brought your  check  for $15.     ^hank  <rou very much,     I
shall wri+e  the Wesley Women.     fcs  to  cashing  checks,   it"
makes  no  difference about  the  size,   as  the bank here handles
them ail  through  Seoul,   and  always  seems  to have  plenty   of
money.     I   cannot draw  on them till they have been  to  Seoul
and back.     1  think  you have  to  pay  a  tax on  each  check,   do  vou
not?     So  that  the  fewer you write  the better  it  is   for vou.
