Dear Father: -> • vesterday raoi nir; before church a .package from you was delivered, but as it was time for church I could f not|open it then; and then when I came back there was also a letter from you; so I feitisweil rememberecf in one day. Your letterfwas an unusually long one, and I enjoyed Lt very much, although I was very sorry to hear you were not Improving. In the letter we're enclosed another dot puzzle, a Trinity bulletin announcing the £olden Jubilee Convention of the Spworth League, a picture of the trains on exhibition at the new JJnion Station, and two §$ stamps. Thank you veryo much. |These were, the first |:| stamps of the new issue I had seen. I see in the bulletin that Trinity is planning for a symphony orchestra. Among the list of new members I noticed the names of|a Mr. and Mrs. Shaw with an address in the 800 block on Muirfield Road; that made me think of Uncle George andlAunt Flov. * • ' By this time you have no doubt heard fhat I have had word from DrrWfasson that my salary lis to be .finer eas It seems they waited till the annual Board meeting to vote on it. ?erhaps|l should no| say so, but it hardly seems to me a matter for the Board to take up at its annual meeting, as the matter of not|paying me-Sfche regular salary was not acted on there. I was In need of some, the ones you sent Christmas being about the only ones not darned, fl guess the quality is not good ,§ as those I buy here do not last long; so what-fyou send are greatly, appreciated. Th e cloth is very pretty, and especially now atvsthe approachof summer is a most acceptable shade, frhen Ruth saw it, she said almost right away hof*beautiful it would look for curtains. The curtains we have npwsrar look warm. welcome.
