f "dour interesting letter of Feb. 26 just came, -■
with its enclosures of a ^rinity bulletin announcing vour
picuresfto be shown tb the Junior church,!the clipping of
a picture o^ the "Golden 5ats Exposition, andf twentv- one
stamps, ^hese were among the most interesting you fiave sent.
I had none at all from Colombia, ^his one in black and white
is a. very striking one, and a .valuable addition to my collection
The Peru stamp depicting the found ins o f iLima four hundred years
ago|was also a very fine one, whicix I am glad to have without
a postal* caneell at ion so that the small figures show uo well,
^he Panama Canal Air Mail stamp islalso very fine; it Is the
best picture of the canal I havetseefi. ^he Brazil stamp dl
showing the row'of palms is alsofyery interesting, especially
knowing you walked down that ^rery road. One of the Argentine
stamps has a head of a cow, indicating, I suppose "the importance of the cattle industry there, ^he Jamaica- .stamp showing
the new king and queen of England is a'fgood one.
TJas rather surprised to know the 'iaveiis had already
left Long Beach., It is fhirty years! since they went ther el-end
+wenty-six since they built the house at 41 Kennebec It seems
like that house was old when we built ^onnivue, but thinking
about it now.it must have been onlv- seven vear
