International News Photo slug (old man) None too old Berlin -- Such was the patriotic fervor stirred by the call to the polls in the Hitler's plebiscite, that even the ailing and the aged cast their ballot. Tailor Spanner, 100-years-old, is brought to the polling place on a wheelchair. A Nazi youth gives him a bouquet of flowers. The vote was ostensibly over 98 percent in favor of Hitler's stand on the Rhine question" -- typed note attached to verso. "Received. Examiner reference library. Apr 15, 1936" -- stamped on verso.
