Rex Bell; Piper Laurie (Rodeo Queen); Lieutenant Governor Harold Powers .; Supplementary material reads: "Leading the rodeo parade, Lt. Gov. Rex Bell of Nevada; Rodeo Queen Piper Laurie; and Lt. Gov. Harold (Butch) Powers of California, preceed the largest Rodeo Week parade in the history of Palm Springs. An estimated 20,000 residents and visitors stood and sat along Palm Canyon Drive to watch equestrian units, Mounted Police, high school and junior college bands go down the line of march. The parade was followed by the Wild West Rodeo at the Polo Grounds, and the entire event was sponsored by the Palm Springs Mounted Police. NOTE: All negs. are the same ID".
