Bush (Inspector); Harry Roberts (Inspector); David Nobley (Inspector).; Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Mitchell. Date: 1952-06-20. Reporter: Baker. Assignment: Slum clearance. Sunday. 61: Inspector Harry Roberts points out inadequate plumbing. 62: Inspector Harry Roberts tells owner of building plumbing must be fixed. 13: Weak stairway, floor of addition, upper left, sagging, held up by plumbing. 14: Inspector Harry Roberts notes settlinh of post & fact that plumbing contributing to support of floor. 79: House being rehabilitated after survey by Bldg. inspector. Note new porch foundation, repairs on roof. 46: Building Inspector W.S. Bush, left; and A.A. Kleiner, inspect sub-standard home on east side. Foundation has to be repaired, rot has to be eliminated, weatherproofing procided, support for roof structure, & clearance of 10' space between garage & building."; Caption slip continues: "11: Inspector A.A. Kleiner says owner will have to enclose porch, put up hand guard rail and reinforce foundation. 12/47/48: Inspectors David Nibley and Harry Roberts inspect trailer & shed used for living quarters & foundation on which house will be built. 75: Inspector A.A. Kleiner checks roof structure of East Side dwelling. 45: Inspector W.S. Bush points out that foundation support needed, steps need fixing, windows need opening, porch has to be brought up to standard."
