Reporter: Gaze Assignment: Miss Bay Beach. #75: Barbara Thomason, 17, Morningside (Inglewood) High School senior, and winner of 14 previous beauty contest titles, who was selected Miss Bay Beach at the Fourth Annual Bay Beach Festival at Ocean Park today. (If she is lifting giant, perpetual trophy in this shot, the idea is that it is Heavy!). Blonde, blue-eyed, she is 5'3", weighs 112 pounds, and is 35-21-36. #81-82, L to R: Bobette Lloyd, 17, of Venice, second place; Barbara Thomason, 17, of Inglewood, first (Miss Bay Beach of 1954); and Beverly Montgomery, 16, of Van Nuys, third. These are winners of Fourth Annual Miss Bay Beach contest at Ocean Park. (They wore masks in initial stages of contest so judges could judge figures only)."
