"755135 Watch your credit International New Photos Slug (Stalin & Voroshilov) No. 1 statesman and No. 1 warman -- in Soviet Russia Moscow, U.S.S.R. -- Josef Stalin, dictator of Russian (left) is pictured with Minister of War, K.E. Voroshilov on the presidium of the conference of men and women Stakhanovite workers in the Grand Hall of the Kremlin Palace. The workers were assembled from all parts of the Soviet Union to discutt [sic] their working methods and tell how they were able to increase production "norms" (quotas) two and three times. A total of 3,000 men and women attended the conference. E-12-5-35" -- typed note attached to verso. Verso dated, "December 12, 1935".
