Los Angeles, Tuesday, April 22: The Big Payoff: Comedian Ben Blue, obeying a compulsion (rather than his doctor's orders) to show up personally at the Mocambo at Sunset Strip, Hollywood, tonight, to ringside and say "thank you, thank you, thank you", to star Roberta Sherwood, who, on her own opening night at the famed Hollywood nitery, nevertheless sped to Santa Monica and performed on the stage at Ben Blue's Supper Club, to pinch hit for Blue, who was in the hospital after major surgery. This marked Ben Blue's first time out after his dramatic battle between life and death. He also announced tonight that he will swing back into action and headline his own show at his own club once again beginning next Tuesday, April 29th. Here, ringsiding at the Mocambo where Roberta Sherwood is starring, (from left to right) are: Roberta Sherwood, Ben Blue at ringside at the Mo".
