Evelyn Stott -- 18 years; Shirley Stott -- 3 years; Windle Stott -- 6 years; Robert Stott -- 7 years; Harry Stott -- 4 years; Chris Dial -- 9 years; Joe Dial -- 13 years.; Supplementary material reads: "gershon, city dewk [sic], illus. L to Ri -- 3/4: This is how they went to bed after fire gutted their home on living roomfloor [sic] in home of Elder Frederick Pritchard, 1224 Trotwood Avenue, San Pedro, L to R: Evelyn Stott, 18 myhd. (?), Shirley Stott, 3 yrs., Windle Stott, 6 yrs., Robert Stott, 7 yrs, Harry Stott, 4 yrs, Chris Dial, 9 yrs, being covered by Joe Dial 13 yrs. 7/8 -- Chris Dial points to where he escaped possibl [sic] death from balcony fire to his mother Mrs. Leona Dial, nurse who was not home at time of near tragedy. Other two shots show Joe Dial holding Harry Stott, 4, re-enacting rescue scene, with James MacKilligan 15, who caught tots and was co-hero".
