"Sports Arena -- an unobstructed view for 15,000 Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena patrons is in plans revealed by architects Welton Beckett [sic] and Associates. Construction is to begin in December" -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated, "July 28, 1957". "Welton Becket [sic] and Associates. Architects and engineers. 5657 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles 36, California" -- stamped on verso dated, "August 1, 1957". EXM-P-S-LOS-ANG-CIT-BUI-634; "Arena interior when set up for ice show. Rendering by Welton Becket and Associates, Memorial Sports Arena architects, shows how the interior will appear when it is in use for a major ice shoe extravaganza.
