Description	Photograph of a Stiles Clements sketch for proposed Sports Arena. "L A City Soprts Arena in Exposition Park; Proposed" -- stamped on verso. "This photograph cannot be reproduced for publication without permission and credit to Stiles and Robert Clements, Architects -- Engineers" -- stamped on verso. "Sunk into the ground, half in and half out. That's to be the 22,000-seat, $6,000,000 sports arena in Exposition Park, whose fine approval by the Coliseum Commission was disclosed yesterday. You¿ll be attending activities there by the summer of 1956. Supervisor Kenneth Hahn says: "In effect it will be a small Coliseum with a roof on it." Angelinos now can look forward to world heavyweight title bouts. (Story, P.1)" -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated, "January 7, 1955".
