Mrs. Anna Kadar -- 61 years; Maria Kadar -- 6 years; Mrs. Veronica Kadar; Louis Kadar -- 38 years (father); Joseph Kadar -- 10 years; Martin Kadar -- 12 years; Veronica Kadar -- 7 years; Maria Kadar -- 6 years; Katherine Kadar -- 4 years.; Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Richardson. Date: 1952-04-16. Reporter: Swaim. Assignment: Family burned out. Pasadena. Mrs. Anna Kadar, 61, grandmother of Rumanian displaced persons family burned out of home, praying before cross left on wall paper where crucifix fell off after fire. Maria Kadar, 6, hugging dog doll which was scorched, but survived fire. On burned table is partly burned Easter basket. Entire family, looking at few wet, ragged garments, all that was left off all clothes in house. Mrs. Anna Kadar, 61, grandmother, is on left; others are Mrs. Veronica Kadar, who is expecting another child in June; Louis Kadar, 38, father; Joseph, 10; Martin, 12; Veronica, 7; Maria, 6; and Katharine, 4. Grab shots: members of family and friends crying in grief over loss of home, clothes. They are displaced persons from Rumania, had just purchased home. (Will identify by sight)".
