Nancy Williams, 16; Jane Colander, 16; Sharon Munson, 17; Mollie Carpenter, 14; Shirley Brain, 18; Greig Steiner, 18; Sue Parris, 16; Mrs. William B. Temple; Elaine Carroll, 16; Mary Lou Pates, 17; Margaret McConnal, 18.; Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Mercurio. Reporter: Ostler. Assignment: Fashion show. 27: Nancy Williams, 16, seen in new gold shot print, latest in summer playsuits. 28: Jane Colander, 16, models a Terry cloth beach robe with red terry cloth applique footprints running across back of robe. All creations at the fashion show were made and designed by students. 6: In picture are Sharon Munson, 17, and Mollie Carpenter, 14, both modelling [sic] full circular skirt. Miss Munson's creation is called 'Tulip Time' and is made out of waffle pique. Miss Carpenter's dress entitled 'Desert Glamour' is of Indian head material with blouse of butcher linen. 120-157: Shirley Brain, 18, models a creation designed by her and made by herself. The blouse is of white organdy with sequin trim. The skirt ... black Indian head with hand painted design around the bottom of skirt. In picture is her boyfriend Greig Steiner, 18, also an expert at dressmaking, putting finishing touches on skirt".; Caption slip continues: "5: Sue Parris, 16, home making student at Covina High School, is seen in unbleached circle skirt with hand painted roosters along bottom designed and made by a boy student, Greig Steiner. 108, 206: Mrs. William B. Temple steps out from her 1913 model cadillac in latest fashion of yester year with Covina High School models trying to restrain laughter. 12: Elaine Carrol, 16, models single-breasted suit of bluish wool tweed with French Cuffs. Setting off the ensemble are blue accessories. 156: Mary Lou Pates, 17, seen in pale blue net bouffant ballerina formal with net stole secured to bodice. 119: General crowd picture with Margaret McConnal, 18, showing off her white eye-let cotton dress with fiber flower blue accessories".
