City desk. Illus. School paper drive. Caption only. Hold for Friday. 'Yankees' and 'Johnny Rebs' were united again at Dana Junior High School in San Pedro for a common cause -- a paper drive to bolster the student body treasury. Yesterday's Examiner revealed that students at the school were wearing the blue caps of the Northern Armies and the Grey Caps of the Southern Armies in good-natured rivalry but surrendered to orders from officials to stop the practice after water-bomb fights broke out at the San Pedro High School which originated the cap wearing here. At the San Pedro High School no caps appeared yesterday either and the 'wah' was over".
