| Abstract | This thesis aims to use media analysis to examine the importance of crisis management in the era of Weibo in China. Through examining two cases: the Guo Meimei and Red Cross Crisis and Shanghai Subway Accident Crisis to determine remarkable trends and their implications for crisis management, and suggest ways that brands, organizations and governments can alleviate their loss in the era of microblogging. |
