Abstract | In this study, we investigate the robust methods for comparing two or more groups when there are missing values. We use the 20%-trimmed mean as the measure of location and conduct a percentile bootstrap method to test the robustness when comparing groups with missing values. Both skewed and heavy-tailed distributions are considered. Our results indicate that the method tested remains satisfactorily robust when comparing two or four groups with equal sample sizes of 30 and 5 missing values per group. |
