Do not neglect the different schools of dancing in your city. In searching for attractions to interest youngsters, [ilg] practically all of us are these days - in fact, Saturday has [ilg] almost universally the day of attractions for kiddies at our [ilg] merchandise stores, let us not neglect the different schools [ilg] dancing in our city. The Pacific Coast seems to have led the [ilg] Let me give you a typical Saturday at The Broadway in [ilg] Angeles. On May 9th sixty-five children from a certain school [ilg] dancing gave a May Festival - a carnival of song, story and da[ilg] It was explained to the kiddies of Los Angeles that many of th[ilg] boys and girls from this school of dancing were known to them [ilg] the moving pictures and also over the radio. This firm usually [ilg] announces surprise after surprise, and the fact that no tickets [ilg] needed. 'Just ask mother to bring you' is the invitation. The 'Ticker' mentions this fact here to-day because some we are seemingly hard up for attractions. We can always turn t[o] the dancing schools, because these people profit when their eff[ilg] are shown in the limelight of publicity. The outstanding fact all, though, is this: First, the concentration of kiddies' and juvenile merchandise on one floor. Second, the constant entert[ilg] exception of a month [ilg]. Third, the Play Rooms where mothers may leave their [ilg] competent nurse or host[ilg]. Fourth, [ilg] merchandise off[ilg]er; Street Car Advertising; Throughout the entire year this stoer uses a full run of street car cards. Above card is typical. Results were so successful it was repeated a second month with requests from the buyer for a third month's run. Although St. Patrick's [ilg] doesn't really arrive until next Thuesday, The Broadway decided to pay homage to the old patron Saint in the Children's party, Saturday afternoon. For his good work in chasing the snakes from the Emerald isle, there will appear on the program [ilg] and readings - and a warm old irish jig. A [ilg] little radio pals - Dickey Brandom, [ilg] Wright and Mimi [ilg] on KHJ. And then [ilg] surprise, last time it was sticking balloons, this time [ilg]. Tell mother to bring you early. There Are Just [4]00 Seats! Admission Complimentary; Tiny Actress To Give Reading At Children's Fete, Broadway Store To Give Easter Party. As Easter frolic or children, featured by a program of free enteratinment will be given tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 [ilg] in the Garden cafe on the eighth floor of the Broadway Department store. The program, which has been arranged by Carter Weaver's school of drama and [ilg] will include piano and violin [ilg], readings, dances and other novelty entertainment. Following the program [ilg] will be held, in which all of the children [ilg], as well as the performers will participate. Among the child performers will [ilg] in several screen Juvenile and radio entertainers.
