EDEEMED BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST'
RECIPE
FOR A
HAPPY
NEW YEAR
Take 12 fine new months, see that they are
thoroughly free from all old grudges, and
anything bitter or unsavoury; have them, by
the grace of God, fresh, clean and wholesome.
Divide these portions into 30 or 31 equal parts.
Don't try to make up the entire lot—so many
folks spoil things that way. Just prepare one
small batch at a time, as follows—
Into each day put liberal measures of faith,
sincerity, courage, enthusiasm, work (some stint
this vital ingredient and lose the flavour it inv-
parts), kindness, courtesy, prayer, meditation,
and at least one cheerful song.
Add a tablespoonful of patience, a dash of
pure fun, a sweet savour of praise, and a heaping
cupful of good humour.
Blend these diligently in fervent heat, garnish
with a sprig of joy, serve with unselfishness, and
a year of Happy Days is certain.
This is a costly recipe to follow, but its benefits to body and soul exceed all the vitamins in
value I And a daily supply of everything needed
can be obtained from the One who " giveth us
richly all things to enjoy ".
