Since reaching my home ajain in Sunderland I have
received an affectionate greeting from my good Christian
brother and interpreter Pastor Barritt. He wtites : " We
all remember your visit here with del'ght, and are especially thankful for the new impulse you were permitted to
give to the doctrine of Divine Healing. Last Sunday
night there were three cases of healing. One young
woman has received the gift of healing, and three were
healed of God through the laying on of her hands, one of
these leaving her crutch behind in Torvgaden (N0.7) where
it is still.
Will the reader pray for special blessing and the guidance of the
Holv Spirit at our Thursday Night Meetings in the Parish Hall, Ful-
well Road, Sunderland, 7-30 p.m.

A Pentecostal Experience.

Across Holland, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden,
night and day in swift expresses. On March 2nd, 1907, in
the goodness of God, I was approaching my destination.
Sleighs at every country station. Frozen lakes and fiords.
Men out on the ice fishing through air-holes. So I praised
the good Lord, Who had so safely brought me to Chi istian a,
I had heard that the Pentecostal Gift of Tongues was
witnessing there to the incoming of the Holy Sp.iit in
power. My four days in Christiania cannot be forgotten. It,
I stood with Evan Roberts at the Ton-y-pandy meetings, If j
but never have I witnessed such scenes as in Noiway,
and soon I believe they will be witnessed in England.
Warmly welcomed by Pastor Barratt and his workers I
was of necessity on the platform.- The meetings 1 now
describe were held in an upper chamber—a very bare low
Mission-room at Torvegaden (No.7) Boysandgir'saround
me—from say seven to twelve years of age—weie seeing
visions and speaking in " tongues " as well as older people.
