SUPPORT AND EXPENDITURE :- The Mission shall be maintained by
voluntary contributions, These should not be solicited by any
member of Committee or by any person holding office under the Mission'
or by advertising for funds; but the financial needs of the Mission
shall be laid continually before God in prayer. The Mission shall
not borrow money or Contract debt under any oircumstances. As no
#ore money will be distributed than is received, there can be no
guarantee to the Missionaries of a fixed salary or other allowances, |
but the supply of the personal needs of the workers, whether at home |
or abroad, and t}~e support of the worki| on the Field, shall be regardl
as aliabllity having primary claim on the apportionment of the
available funds after the fixed current liabilities of the Home
Department have been met.
The Home Committee are responsible to those contributing their
gidtts and offerings for the right disbursement of all moneys
entrusted to them, whether for the General fund or gifts for
specific purposes, and for the forwarding to those for whom they are I
li
given any special contribut-ions for the personal use of particular
members of the Mission. The Central ABian Department will render to I
the Home Department an account quarterly of all sums received by
them direct on the Field.
ACCOUNTS:- The Home Department shall keep strict record of all
moneys received and expended or distributed by them, and shall
arrange for an anual audit of the Account Books, and for the
publication and circulation to all the doners,- of an audited
annual statement of the accounts of the Central Asian Mission.
The Central Asian Department shall in like manner keep a record]
of all moneys received and expended by them, and shall render an
audited statement of the same, for incorporation with the annual
abstract of accounts published by the Home Department.
MISSIONARY CANDIDATES:- Missionary Candidates shall be approved by
the Home Committee, and after a satisfactory probation/the Field
of not less than one year or more than two years, they will, after
the report and recommendation of the Committee abroad, be confirmed jj
as Jttnior Missionaries. While on probation they are expected to
