HURLBURT 0
General Director of the Africa -.
U.IARLES ERWIN
Inland Mission which is hereinafter called " the Mission " and on
behalf of the Mission of the one part and CECIL POLHILL of -.-.
Howbury Hall , Bedford, President of the Pentecostal Missionary-.-
Union of Great Britain and Ireland, which is hereinafter called -.
■ the P.M.U. • and on behalf of the P.M.U. of the other part.
IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED between the parties hereto that the
Mission will receive and the P.M.U. may send approved Missionaries
hereinafter called " the Missionaries " to associate with the -.-.
Workers of the Mission in Africa upon the following conditions-
THE Missionaries shall be first approved by the General or -.
Home Director of the Mission.
ALL charges and expenses in connection with the Missionaries-
and their maintenance orrelating to the purchase, registration and
transfer of land pursuant to clause &* hereof shall be defrayed -.■
by the P.M.U.
THE Mission will advise and counsel the Missionaries and so -
far as it is able will render them all reasonable assistance in -•■
reaching their destination, settling upon a suitable and congenial
district for future work, acquiring the Languages and generally as
need or occasion may require as co-workers toegther with their One
Lord and Master.
THE Missionaries shall be allowed to preach the Gospel of Our
Lord Jesus Christ according to their own conscience, subjeot -.-.-
however to their holding and believing fully the doctrines of the
Mission as set out in the Schedule hereto.
THE Missionaries shall recognize and submit to the authority
of the General Director of the Mission or his Authorized Deputy In
the District where the Missionaries are working on all matters of
policy in oonnection with the Government of the country and the -.
Natives, Study of the Native Languages, Furloughs, Marriage and
choice of Stations.
