Abstract | Wedged Interloper: Aesthetic Object ❧ Sculpture exists in the space between rational existence and the literal void of language -- a wedged interloper stuck somewhere between the thing and its description. Every object straddles the divide between brute necessity and its own aesthetic impact. This thesis discusses the impact of language on the transition of objects from the unknown to the obvious. |
