| Abstract | The Catilinarian conspiracy is a subject which has been touched upon by many historians and editors but none of them has given us a concise treatment of the whole conspiracy in detail. The purpose of the writer, therefore, has been to supply this need, to present a source book of the Catilinarian conspiracy. No definite attempt has been made to make this a critical study, for each episode would require a thesis for itself; such criticism was employed only when it seemed essential to the main purpose of the thesis. |
