Abstract	This thesis represents a study of the group life of some 650 Koreans in Los Angeles County, particularly those residing in the Korean community. It sets forth sociological, political and economic factors influencing this minority group whose racial characteristics and interests separate them distinctly from all other Orientals in our midst.
