THE 9th AKCO ANNUAL PICNIC
Many thanks to Esther Choy and her committee members for the excellent
job on the very successful and enjoyable AKCO Annual Picnic which was
held at the Cheviot Hills Recreation Center (Rancho Park) on July 30th•
Approximately 200 members and their families were there and enjoyed
the various programs and games led by Mr, and Mrs. Bill Chun. Dr, Charles
Yoon had donated $50 for game prizes and it added to a day of much fun
for the youngsters, as well as for the adults. Our sincere appreciation
to Dr. Yoon, and compliments to Bill Chun for the fun-filled programs.
THE 9th ANNUAL BOWL ,Nt FEAST
The 9th AKCO Bowling Nite was held on June 3rd at the Holiday Bowl.  It
brought out the "Biggest" number of participants ever; also a large number of spectators enjoyed the big turn-out.

The Highest Achievement Award went to Doris Park with her "First Strike"
ever in her fabulous career as a bowler.
Unlike other years, Korean food was served by Food Chairman Esther Paik
and Rose Paik (mook), Betty Kim, Janice Oh, Lucy Chun, Virginia Lee, Doris
Park, Helen Lyou, Ruth Kim, Esther Choy and Rose Shur.
The Bowling Chairman Daniel Park supervised the fabulous turn-out that
enjoyed the bowling and food.
