A BILL
To authorize the admission into the United States, under a
quota for Koreans, persons oi the Korean race, to make them
racially eligible for naturalization, and for other purposes.
1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 lives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 That section 303 of the Nationality Act of 1940, as amended
4 (54 Stat. 1140; 8 U.S. C. 703; Public Law 199,*Seventy-
5 eighth Congress; ch. 344, first session), is amended to read
6 as follows:
7 "Sec. 303. (a) The right to become a naturalized
8 citizen under the provisions of this Act shall extend only
9 to (1) white persons; (2) persons of African nativity or
10 descent; (3) persons who are descendants of races in-
