At 2 a,m. it was reported that the left eye of Admiral K.
Uomura was blind and shortly afterward it was removed by
physicians*
The officials were injured when with thousands of Japanese
soldierst civilians and persons of other nationalities,
including high foreign officials * in attendance, a would-be
assasin, reported to be a Korean* yesterday sioming at Hongkwr
Park tossed a lighted bomb onto a platform on which they wert
standing* The explosion'of the missile injured all of the
officials and four other persons*
