Dear Mr* Kim:
I have received the financial report for 19h3  of the U* S*
Mainland branch of the United Korean Committee in America, together
with" your letter stating that the financial report of the Hawaii United
Korean Committee will be forthcoming• The report submitted appears
to be inadequate in several details* It does not, as required by
paragraph 10 of Exhibit C, specify the sources from which the funds
indicated were received* Moreover, the names and addresses of
each person or group from which the registrant received $100 or more,
if any, is not indicated* It is further noted that the report lists
a substantial sum spent for publicity and publication* It does not,
however, disclose, as required, the names and addresses of the recipients
of sums amounting to $25*00 or more, if any*
In addition, an examination of your registration and supplemental
statements and their attachments reveal several deficiencj.es which
should be corrected* It is noted that the organization lias not filed
an Exhibit A in duplicate for each of its officers and employees
as required* I am therefore enclosing 80 copies of Exhibit A in order
that you might correct this deficiency* A copy of each of the documents filed may be retained for your records* Unused copies should
be returned to this Department*
I also find that the United Korean Committee has not filed a
copy of every instrument or document relating to the powers and
purposes of the organization and a statement of the terms and conditions
of every oral agreement under which it operates* These documents should
be submitted as Exhibit E of your registration statement*
Your registration statement indicates that you use the columns
of The New Korea and The Korean National Herald in publicizing the
