NICHE vases, because of their' small size,
require flowers with slender stems such as roses
and carnations. Orchids make a lovely and long-
lasting decoration for occasions of special significance, as do the exotic Hawaiian anthurium
lilies. This vase will hold eight to one dozen
carnations or roses.
CRYPT vases, usually in pairs, permit'attractive arrangements of the same kind of flowers
used in niche vases, but in larger numbers.
Gladioli and China chrysanthemums are also
appropriate and beautiful.
URNS for outdoor or mausoleum sarcophagi
call for large striking arrangements. Gladioli (at
least a dozen and a half in each urn) or carnations (three or four dozen in each urn) are
among the blooms we recommend.
LAWN vases require bouquets of the hardier
seasonal flowers. One dozen gladioli, chrysanthemums in assorted sizes, or two or more dozen
carnations are a perfect selection/For holidays
we especially recommend long-lasting blooming
plants.
