A year of planning by Trojans Steve Lee. Michele Gibbs and Steve Kent and Prof. James Durbin, lecturer in English, will reach fruition when the first edition of the campus quarterly goes on sale for 50 cents late this semester. Official Outlet Editor-in-chief Lee envisions Colloquy as the official outlet for student-faeulty opinion, “filling a void which desperately needs to be filled on this campus.” Interested students are needed to take editorial positions on the Colloquy publication staff. Applications for these posts are available through October 15 in the Student Activities Office. 324 Student Union. “Original short stories and poetry, and critical and analytic articles should also be submitted to the office as soon as possible, preferably by October 15,” Lee said. A box has been placed in the office for any voluntary contributions. The centrifuge is located at West 37 th Street between Hoover Street and University Avenue.
In recent years the centrifuge has been used extensively in USC’s Aerospace Safety program. Included in the list of passengers is Walter JSchirra, the astronaut.
