Attacks
Betinis
By STAN WILSON
ASSC President John Betinis has “put his foot in his, mouth" regarding the content; of his proposed amendment to abolish the Senate, Senator;
Brooke Gabrielson said yesterday.
The senator noted that Betinis has made statements in contradiction of the actual content of his amendment and hoped that "some voters will wake up and reason for themselves.”
“His first contradiction occurred when he stated: ‘‘anything I do could be overruled by the Executive Cabinet.’
According to his amendment he will have absolute control, except in the area of finance," Gabrielson said.
Betinis Deceitful?
“Secondly, he claims various administrators would help select representatives to the constitutional c o n v e ntion,”
Gabrielson said. “If this is what he means, this is what he should have included in the amendment."

Tall, overweight, sensitive, articulate, bright women students are potential suicide cases more than 50 per cent of the time. Professor Joseph D. Teicher reported at a USC post-graduate seminar at the Sheraton-West Hotel recently.
Addressing 300 doctors and students on “Adolescent Attempted Suicides,” Dr. Teicher discussed findings of his year-long study at Los Angeles County General Hospital.
Because approximately 95 per cent of all suicides occur among females. Dr. Teicher’s experiment involved girls 14 through 18 who have made a “bona fide suicide attempt.” Lengthy Interview
Each patient was subjected to an hour-and-a-half interview to discover her at-t:tude toward school, peers and physiological status.
“Surprisingly, every single exploratory study fell into the exact same pattern,” Dr. Teicher commented.
The potential suicide victim usually comes from a lower socio-economic family,

Evidence from Dr. Teicher’s experiment indicated almost exclusively that potential suicides are tall, heavy, intelligent female students.
