Betinis Mandate Bypasses Senate

ASSC President John Betinis decided yesterday to bypass the Senate in his bid to abolish that body.
He is asking- for a mandate from the student body by circulating a petition calling for a special general election to approve of a new constitutional amendment.

Trolios to Launch 1964 Homecoming
Homecoming activities of- * ficially begin tomorrow ev- I

A satirical revue, “Don’t Makes Waves,” replaces the traditional form of Trolios to start the series of Homecoming events at 7:30 tomorrow evening.
Highlighting the evening’s entertainment will be the crowning of the 1964 Homecoming Queen, chosen from among the five finalists:
Brenda Broz, Jeannie Klausky, Nadine Nardi. Martha Sissell and Susan Wright.
No activities are planned for Thursday, but “the fun really begins Friday,” Homecoming Chairman Terry Kahn said.
Judging of fraternity and sorority house decorations will take place at 3 p.m. Friday.
Troyland Carnival will be held at 7 Friday night on the parking lot between 34th Street and Jefferson Boulevard.
