Members of the executive board, life members, active and ex-officio officers, and the board of women councilors will attend with Mrs. Rufus B. von KleinSmid presiding. Opening the regular luncheons will be the November 4 occasion honoring Dr. Rufus B. von KleinSmid, who is completing his 20th anniversary as president, and Miss Helen H. Mrs. Arthur Lang, newly-initiated patroness of the organization, will view formal auditions of the rushees during her hostess duties at a Tommy Tucker supper Thursday. A preference dinner afr the Chapman Park hotel next Saturday has as its theme candlelight and crystal and is the final event of the rushing season. Weems Signed Ted Weems and his orchestra come to the Casa Manana, dining and dancing rendezvous in Culver City, on Tuesday, through arrangements completed by Joseph Zucca and Harold Lewin, managing directors of the cafe-ballroom. Weems, who is one of the most famous leaders in dance band history, brings with him to the Casa Manana, his featured entertainers who with the band, have made a tremendous hit in the smartest night clubs, hotels and theaters throughout the nation.
