The rally featured the Trojan Marching Band, which began the rally with an energetic performance of the USC fight song as they gathered in front of Tommy Trojan.
The band was complimented by the USC Song Leaders, who performed several dance routines, the USC Yell Leaders and silks (tall flags).
Linebacker coach Tom Roggeman took the stage to deliver a barrage of words
the weeklong hearing.
Last Monday, when Hill announced publicly she was sexually harassed by Thomas and the Senate indicated that the charge would not delay their vote, about 170 law professors sent a letter to the Senate requesting a delay, Resnik said.
"After Congress gave the delay, many of us asked each other whether we knew who was helping Professor Hill who was then to go to Congress that Friday," she said.
that ended with a prediction that the Trojans will leave the field victorious Saturday.
"(Stanford players) come to the Coliseum and they leave in an ugly mood," he said.
Following Roggeman's speech, the 1990 Mr. and Ms. USC, Todd Sharp and Gina D'Amore, passed the torch to the new Mr. and Ms. USC for 1991.

Resnik called Emma Coleman, a friend and law professor at Georgetown University, to ask if she knew who could help Hill.
Coleman soon became one of Hill's lawyers. Resnik and other law professors spoke to Hill in a conference call on Wednesday, Oct. 9, before she flew to Washington D.C. for the proceedings.
