Senators take fight to the top
By Chris Eftychiou
Staff Writer
Student senators have taken their fight for longer escort service hours to the university's upper administration.
Unhappy with a proposal from Dennis Archambault, special programs administrator of University Security, senators sent letters outlining their own plan to President James Zumberge, James Dennis, vice president of student affairs, and Steven Ward, chief of University Security.

Richard Dekmejian, chairman of the political science department, said that the student petition would not affect the department's hiring policy because the administration has not made a position available.
