Harold Dougher has been very popular in the affairs of the Commerce Club, and Elmer Marshrey is well knowm in the band. The polls are open from 9:00 a. m. until 4:00 p. m., and every man and woman in the Commerce Club should vote. Cards for membership can still be secured at the Commerc office. GIRLS TO DEBATE IN INITIAL CONTEST U. S. C. and Oregon Agricultural College will have a debate in which girls will represent both institutions, next Monday night. The question is: Resolved, that the United States should cancel the war debts of Italy, France and Belgium. The Aggies are sending Miss Williams and Miss Reams down here, while the lT. S. C. debators are Esther Siegal and La Verne Harrison, both of the' School of Speech. The debate will be at 8:15, and all students are urged to come out’and support the first intercollegiate debate between girls U. S. C. has ever had. their turn upon the mound. OXY TIGERS FALL Monday afternoon the Trojan willow wielders staged a little slugfest with the Occidental Tigers from which they emerged holding the long end of tbe 9 to 4 score. The Trojans outhit the Tigers, and had a safe hand on the game at all times. Thornton worked the first four frames and theft retired in favor of Jones, who subdued the Bengals for the rest of the contest. After these two decisive victories, the Cardinal and Gold aggregation has high hopes of taking the game from the Branch nine this afternoon and ending up a more or less up and down season with a series of victories.
